Did you know…it is still dear mating season.  This means more possibility of them running across roads and into your cars.  Deer mate from September to November, and the main breeding time occurs in October.  

To SWERVE or NOT TO SWERVE…that is the question.  The answer…do NOT swerve, let the poor animal run into you.
Swerving can cause accidents, involve more people, cause you to go into ditches or ravines.  Swerving causes over corrections and a greater chance of losing control of your vehicle.  A deer hitting you is a comprehensive claim.  When you hit a guard rail trying to avoid an animal, you are involved in an accident (and has a far greater chance of raising your car insurance rates).
